After School Program 3 PM - 6 PM For Upton Memorial Elementary School students grades K-4
OUR MISSION Established in 1983 the United Parish Early Learning Center formerly known as the United Parish Nursery School continues to provide a high-quality, developmentally appropriate , play based preschool program that meets the needs of the individual child’s total growth. Our curriculum is intentionally planned to meet these goals and is based on the Massachusetts State Guidelines for Learning Experiences. While we are housed in a church, we are a not a religious based program.
OUR PHILOSOPHY The philosophy of United Parish Early Learning Center is to provide a warm, safe, accepting and nurturing environment where the child may grow as an individual. Our school will promote and foster the emotional, social, cognitive and physical growth through developmentally appropriate activities throughout the day. Developing a positive self-image, fostering self-confidence, awareness of others and developing positive peer relationships are our primary goals. United Parish Early Learning Center’s developmental philosophy is to offer children a curriculum which they can find success as well as experience appropriate challenge. Through play, the children will learn basic reading and math readiness concepts. Our program also includes art, music, creative movement, fine and gross motor activities, and cooking activities. The health and safety of your children along with the appropriate learning experiences given in a warm and nurturing environment is what we are all about! We encourage your active participation in your child’s early learning and volunteer opportunities are available and encouraged!
